These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Site and all content made available on it. We may revise the Terms from time to time without prior notice, so please review this page periodically. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. For details on how we collect, use, and store information about our users, please read our Privacy Policy.
1. Ownership of Content and Copyright
All content and functionality on the Site — including text, articles, graphics, charts, infographics, logos, icons, images, audio, video, downloadable documents, and the selection and arrangement thereof, together with any underlying concepts, frameworks, models, methodologies, tools, software, and industry perspectives, and any enhancements or derivative works thereof (collectively, the “Site Content”) — is the exclusive property of IAF or its licensors and is protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 (India) and applicable international copyright treaties and conventions.
Except as expressly permitted in Section 3 below, no part of the Site Content or the Site’s functionality may be copied, reproduced, modified, adapted, translated, reverse engineered, altered (including removal or disabling of any technological safeguards, disclaimers, or attribution notices), uploaded, published, posted, transmitted, sold, or distributed in any form or by any means without our prior written permission. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
2. Trademarks and Brand
The names “Intelligence and Adaptive Finance”, “IAF”, and all associated marks, logos, designs, and brand elements displayed on the Site (collectively, the “Marks”) are the registered or unregistered trademarks of IAF or its licensors. Except as expressly permitted (for example, through social-sharing tools provided on the Site), you may not use or reproduce the Marks, or refer to or attribute information to IAF in any public medium (including press releases, websites, or social media) for advertising, promotional, or endorsement purposes, or in any manner likely to cause confusion, dilute the Marks, or imply any affiliation with or endorsement by IAF.
3. Permitted Use of Site Content
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, IAF grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to:
(a) access, view, download, display, and print one copy of the Site Content on a single device solely for your personal, internal, non-commercial use; and
(b)quote brief excerpts of the Site Content with clear attribution — that is, you may reproduce short passages of an article or analysis in your own work (including academic, journalistic, or professional publications and social media), provided that (i) the excerpt is reasonably limited in length and does not substitute for the original work; (ii) you clearly credit “Intelligence and Adaptive Finance” (or the named author, where indicated) as the source; (iii) where the medium permits, you include a hyperlink to the original page on the Site; and (iv) the quotation is not used in a manner that is misleading, defamatory, or suggests IAF’s endorsement of your work, product, or service.
You must not modify the Site Content, remove any copyright or proprietary notices, or create derivative works from it, except to the limited extent inherent in fair quotation as described above or as permitted by the fair-dealing provisions of the Copyright Act, 1957.
In addition, you may not:
- Access, search, collect, mine, scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Site or the Site Content by any automated or manual means without IAF’s express written permission.
- Use the Site or Site Content to develop, train, fine-tune, ground, or operate any software program, model, algorithm, machine-learning system, or artificial intelligence (AI) tool, including any use of the Site Content in retrieval-augmented generation, without IAF’s express written permission.
- “Mirror”, frame, or systematically republish the Site or any portion of the Site Content.
- Use the Site or Site Content in violation of any applicable law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made thereunder, or in violation of the intellectual property or other proprietary or legal rights of IAF or any third party.
Nothing on this Site shall be construed as granting, directly or by implication, any licence or right to use any IAF intellectual property other than as expressly set out in these Terms. The licence granted in this Section terminates automatically and immediately if you fail to comply with these Terms, and IAF may additionally suspend your access to the Site or pursue any legal remedy it considers appropriate.
4. User Submissions (Interactive Features)
The Site does not currently host public comments, forums, or message boards. If and when IAF enables interactive features (such as comments, discussion threads, surveys, or questionnaires), the following will apply to any material you post, submit, or otherwise publish on the Site (“Submissions”):
(a) You grant IAF a worldwide, non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable, royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable licence to use, reproduce, publish, distribute, adapt, and otherwise exploit your Submissions for any lawful purpose and in any form or medium, and you waive, to the extent permitted by law, any claims against IAF relating to rights of privacy, publicity, moral rights, or attribution in connection with such use.
(b) You agree that you will not post any material that: is threatening, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable; would constitute or encourage a criminal offence, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise violate any applicable law (including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021); infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party; contains a virus or other harmful component; contains advertising or solicitation; contains false or misleading statements; or otherwise violates these Terms.
(c) IAF does not endorse and is not responsible for the accuracy or reliability of any Submission. IAF cannot review all user material and reserves the right, but has no obligation, to refuse, remove, or edit any Submission, in whole or in part, at any time, for any reason or no reason.
5. Notices of Infringement and Takedown
IAF respects intellectual property rights and prohibits the posting or publication of any material that infringes the copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any person or entity. If you believe that any content on the Site infringes a right you own or are authorised to enforce, please send a written notice to the contact identified below containing:
(a) identification of the work or right claimed to have been infringed; (b) identification and location (URL) of the allegedly infringing material on the Site; (c) your name, address, telephone number, and email address; (d) a statement of your good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the rights owner, its agent, or the law; (e) a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf; and (f) your physical or electronic signature.
Upon receipt of a compliant notice, IAF will review the matter and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the infringing material in accordance with the Copyright Act, 1957, the Information Technology Act, 2000, and applicable rules. Persons who repeatedly post infringing or unlawful material may be barred from making further Submissions.

All content and functionality on the Site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, or non-infringement. IAF and its third-party content providers make no warranties as to the ownership, accuracy, timeliness, or adequacy of the Site Content and accept no responsibility for information published on linked websites, contained in user submissions, or provided by third parties.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, neither IAF nor its third-party content providers shall be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages or losses, or for any lost revenues, profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Site or the Site Content, whether or not advised of the possibility of such damages and regardless of the theory of liability.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless IAF and its owners, affiliates, officers, employees, contributors, agents, representatives, licensors, successors, and assigns (the “IAF Indemnified Parties”) from and against any and all liabilities, claims, demands, expenses, costs, and losses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site, your Submissions (if any), or any breach by you of these Terms. IAF reserves the right, at its own expense, to assume the exclusive defence and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which case you agree to cooperate with IAF’s defence.
